Juan Angel Johnston-Chavez has been a dance affair student since the age of 18 months. He was a member of the Lincoln High School Convertables dance team and has been trained in the Cecchetti method through grade 5. Angel is a well rounded dancer who has taken all genres of dance from Musical Theater to Contemporary. Angel currently attends San Jose State University.
Mandee Clark was a dance affair student from ages 3- 18. She got on the dance track early on and took Acro, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary. She is trained in the Cecchetti method through grade 4 . She was a high school dance team captain and currently attends College in Idaho.
Sierra Marines attended classes at the dance affair from age 7- 18. In those years she took Acro, Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary. She is trained in the Cecchetti method through grade 4 and is currently attending college In Utah looking to minor in dance.
Laurel Thomas started at the dance affair at the age of 6. She joined the dance track and took ballet, jazz , tap and contemporary. She has been trained in the Cecchetti method through grade 6 and is looking to minor in dance at UCLA. ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.
I wanted to express my joy in finding this class for Chloe during the summer break. My two daughters enjoy being here. Your warmth and welcoming nature have made a significant impact on us. Chloe’s daily stories after class reflect her genuine happiness here, and it’s evident that she feels secure in this environment. Thank your creating such a postivie and nutring space.
My daughter has been a student since she was 3 and loves it. She has taken the KK1 and KK2 classes, and she loves the annual performance at the end of the year. Ms. Erica, Indie, and the whole staff are great. My daughter has learned confidence, teamwork, and discipline, and she has overcome her shyness to perform. She has lots of fun too and loves coming to class.
My daughter has been dancing at Dance Affair for 4 years now. Every year she comes home begging to take more classes the next year. I find that dance affair continues to instill confidence in my daughter and she not only grows as a dance, but as a friend, a student, a daughter and role model. Every year the staff works so hard to create the most magical show ever. Even the small little three year old kids hit the stage and impress the audience. We are very thankful for all the teachers here and are so glad to be a part of the dance affair family. We also make it a point every year to take the dance camp that has an overnight studio sleep over. My daughter loves this camp.
There aren’t enough words to say about The Dance Affair, Ms Erica and her staff. Both of my daughters danced for 10 and 15 years respectively. During this time they both danced in multiple genres from Pointe, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Contemporary and Lyrical. The impact that the staff and Ms Erica had on my daughters, single handily shaped them into the young women they are today. As they are both now in College, so many aspects within the discipline of what they learned through dancing at The Dance Affair are applied in their continued academic pursuits. Ms Erica and her staff are so dearly cherish by my daughters and myself alike.
The Dance Affair is more than a studio, it’s a family. I spent 10 years of my own childhood dancing at The Dance Affair and when I had children of my own, there was no question about enrolling them to be part of this community. My daughters have been dancing at The Dance Affair for the last 12 years. Not only have they been treated with love, respect, and patience, The Dance Affair has been a safe place and a home away from home. The community that is built is one that not only shares our love for dance, but reflects our values and supports every child in reaching their full potential.
