Each year the Dance Affair presents a professional performance to showcase the dances from each class. Each class prepares and practices to present their dances on stage for family and friends. This presentation is a culmination of the students hard work and dedication. We look forward to performing this year for you!

Backstage Volunteers
Parent volunteers are a very important part of our annual show. Parents are grouped with 8-10 dancers to help with changing costumes, retouching makeup, and escorting to the stage. You may volunteer to help with your child’s class or with any other backstage duties. We will be taking sign-ups at the beginning of May. There will be a Mandatory in person/zoom meeting on Wednesday June 12th, 2024. You can sign up in your parent portal.
Costumes
Each dancer purchases a costume for their respective classes that will perform. Costume Deposits are due in November. Costume Balances are due on January 5th, 2024.
Recital Ticketing
Tickets will go on sale in May 3rd. Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis so be sure to log in the day tickets go on sale to purchase the seats you would like. Tickets range in price from $27 – 40 and can be purchased in your parent portal.

What else is involved?
April 27th, Saturday: In-Studio costume rehearsal. This is mandatory for recital participants. We call this our “Cupcake Party” for all of our Shining, Shooting & Groovers classes and our “Pizza Party” for all teen and Level 1 & up classes. They will be held at different times and this information will be made known to you.
May 2024: Photo Week (no purchase necessary & optional) – more information to come!
What will the recital day look like for the dancers?
The day will start at 9:00 AM (each class will have a scheduled time to rehearse) at the theater for a full dress rehearsal of the recital. Perferably one Parent per child are welcome to sit in the audience for the dress rehearsal. Once your dancer has done their last dance you are welcome to leave the theater until check-in time for recital 2:00-3:00.
